VS Business Platform Privacy Policy

1. About this application

VS Business Platform is an internal business operations application developed and operated by V&S Laboratory. It supports authorized employees with customer and enquiry management, product catalogue operations, quotations, sales orders, fulfilment and related business-document management.

2. Google Drive data accessed

VS Business Platform uses the Google Drive API with the restricted per-file scope:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file

This permission allows the application to create, retrieve, update and delete only files created by or explicitly used with VS Business Platform. The application does not request access to browse or manage unrelated files in a user’s Google Drive.

The application may process:

• Business documents uploaded through VS Business Platform.

• Files created by VS Business Platform.

• Google Drive file identifiers.

• File names, content types and sizes.

• Document checksums used to verify file integrity.

• Upload, download and deletion metadata required for business records and auditing.

3. How Google user data is used

Google Drive data is used only to:

• Store business documents submitted through VS Business Platform.

• Retrieve documents for authorized business operations.

• Verify document integrity.

• Maintain links between business records and their corresponding Drive files.

• Delete application-managed files when an authorized workflow requires deletion.

Google user data is not used for advertising or unrelated profiling.

4. Access limitations

Access to VS Business Platform is restricted to authorized V&S Laboratory employees. Application roles and permissions determine which employees can view, upload or download business documents.

Employees do not receive the application’s Google OAuth credentials or unrestricted access to the connected Google Drive account.

5. Data sharing

V&S Laboratory does not sell Google user data.

Google user data is not transferred to third parties except where necessary to operate the application, comply with applicable law, protect legitimate business interests, or use infrastructure providers acting on behalf of V&S Laboratory under appropriate safeguards.

6. Storage and security

Business documents are stored in a dedicated private Google Drive folder managed by VS Business Platform. Related file identifiers, integrity checksums and audit information may be stored in the application database.

V&S Laboratory uses access controls, employee authorization, protected configuration and secure network transmission to reduce unauthorized access.

7. Data retention and deletion

Business documents and related metadata are retained only for legitimate operational, contractual, accounting, audit or legal requirements.

Authorized personnel may delete application-managed documents according to V&S Laboratory’s document-retention procedures. Revoking Google authorization prevents the application from obtaining future access through the revoked authorization.

8. Revoking Google authorization

The Google account owner may review or revoke the application’s authorization through their Google Account security settings:

Revoking authorization may prevent VS Business Platform from storing or retrieving documents through Google Drive.

9. Google API Services User Data Policy

VS Business Platform’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
